Sex and Sexuality and the Internet

The average age of exposure to pornography is 9 years old.  How can we speak to our children and teenagers about pornography and help them navigate the internet safely?  We invite you to attend this parent forum on November 16.  The panelists will answer questions and offer information and guidance.  Panelists include:

Alec Kean, Licensed Professional Counselor
Charles Teixeira, X3Groups Leader at XXXChurch
Lori Welander, Apple Teacher and Trainer

This event is targeted to parents with children from around age 7 through teenagers.  If you have a child in that range, if you work with children, or if you have grandchildren, we hope you will attend.  If you would like to submit a question for our panelists, please email questions@thirdrva.org.  All pre-submitted questions will remain anonymous.  

If you have questions about this event, please contact Tracie Meadows.  There will be child care that evening for kindergarten and younger children in the nursery, regularly scheduled choir for our 1st - 4th grade students, Club 56, and alternate care for those not in choir (in the student ministry area).
