Each summer, we partner with the Christian Arabic Church to collect backpacks and school supplies, for the CAC to use as an outreach tool, giving them to new immigrant and refugee families in the area. We are also collecting additional school supplies this year to support our Immigrant and Refugee Tutoring program! Be a blessing to our community by giving a backpack and supplies to help families who live right here in the West End.

Bring your filled backpacks and supplies and put them in the bins under the shelves across from the crib nursery by August 18.

FOR BACKPACKS: Fill your backpack with items from this list of needed school supplies:

• Note book paper

• Spiral notebooks – 1 subject

• Pencil sharpeners

• Crayons

• Binders

• Rulers

• Writing Utensils (highlighters, markers, pens and pencils)

• Math flash cards

FOR TUTORING SUPPLIES:

• Crayons

• Markers

• Glue sticks

• Children’s scissors

• Ruled notebook paper

• Math or alphabet flash cards
